Philosopher and cognitive scientist who developed participatory sense-making with Ezequiel Di Paolo: an account of how people understand one another through their bodies and the dynamics of their interaction.

Her later work extends the framework with “loving and knowing” (2019), on how meaning is made between people “in the tensions between being ourselves and being in relation”. She was a member of the IAS-Research Centre at the University of the Basque Country from 2010 to 2023.
